Privacy

As of 25 October 2026

This page says what Corners keeps about you, why, and for how long. The site is run by Zyfron GmbH; how to reach us is in the imprint.

Your account

For an account with an email and a password we keep the email, the name you chose and the password as an Argon2id hash, never the password itself. For an account through Google we keep what Google tells us: your Google account's identifier, email, name and the address of your profile picture. If you upload a picture, we keep only the square the server drew from it, without anything else the file carried, such as where a photo was taken; anyone with its address can load it, and it is deleted when you remove it or upload another. If you are given a permission to manage the site — its bots, or who else may — we keep which, who granted it and when.

Your games

We keep the games you play — the players, every move and the result — so that a game survives a restart and your profile can count your results. A game and your name in it are visible to anyone with its link.

Cookies and your browser

A session cookie, corners_session, keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; we keep only a hash of it. A cookie named lng remembers your language. Your choice of theme and colours stays in your browser's storage and is never sent to us. There is no tracking, no advertising and no analytics.

Your rights

You may ask what we keep about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use, under the GDPR. Write to the address in the imprint, and we delete your account and its sessions.
